Police are now saying that two bicyclists were struck on eastbound lanes of the Rickenbacker Causeway around 6:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Both were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital. One of them is in critical condition.

The driver stayed at the scene.

Initial reports said two pedestrians had been struck by a vehicle.

This is causing some traffic delays in the area. The right lane is blocked to traffic going toward Key Biscayne.
